28 Nov 2011: While waiting for the domestic flight in the wee hours...
On board the flight... breakfast was provided! Not bad~
I took a train from the domestic airport to the international airport where I finally met my roaming partner Wei! Here's our bags together~
When we arrived, it wasn't time to check-in yet, and so we went to the cafe attached to the hostel we're residing in, and grab some brunch.
Our beverage was served.
And then a yummy brunch! :D
We went out exploring Sydney and Luna Park was one of the first stops.
Lovely view of the Habour Bridge and Sydney Opera House in a distance.
We hopped onto a ferry that took us back to Darling Habour and strolled down to The Rocks.
And we had dinner at Pancakes on The Rocks!
My mushroom crepe in pesto sauce~
Wei's dinner~
After dinner we strolled down to Sydney Opera House. Love the sky and the scenery!
Soon the sky turned dark and we slowly strolled back to our hostel. Along the way, we stopped at McD for for carrot cake break!
And we strolled pass this too!
Nice christmas lighting projected on the Town Hall!
Bought supper back to the hostel... ^^
29 Nov 2011: Rise and shine! We went to the same cafe for brunch and here's my lovely latte :)
Wei's fish and chips.
My vegetarian lasagna.
We went on cruise after brunch! There's a group of Japanese boys on the deck below and along the way it started raining and the ride got so turbulent, all of them vomited. Gosh, looking at how sick they were, along with many other tourists on board, I really felt sorry for them. What a vacation! Just glad that Wei and I pulled through without purging, but still sad that we didn't get to see the whales as promised.
We went to Hyde Park after the cruise and it's a really beautiful park!
We spent a lot of time at Hyde Park, and then we headed down to Queen Victoria Building.
Still inside QVB.
We continued to stroll until we reached Chinatown.
We went to a foodcourt in Chinatown for dinner.
My flat rice noodles in tomyum soup and a potato croquette.
Wei's Korean dinner.
We saw a queue and it was cheap, so we went to join the fun...
And bought these...
Not bad!
And we continued our exploration in Sydney...
